With a little luck, Ortiz AFC's Fanuco Cotillos got control of the ball when Espiridion Ocouto tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Ortiz AFC getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Pastor Alvaro hit a great ball. Fanuco Cotillos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cesario Solarriba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ortiz AFC's Fanuco Cotillos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Ortiz AFC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesario Solarriba in the 8th minute of play forced Ortiz AFC's goalkeeper Fanuco Cotillos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cesario Solarriba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 20th minute, Faron Roson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bras Muxica was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. When the match clock showed 24 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Galindo Hortiz sped through Guayaybi FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bras Muxica. Bras Muxica came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Ortiz AFC's Galindo Hortiz. But to his dismay, Galindo Hortiz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After 32 minutes of play, Guayaybi FC's Cesario Solarriba made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fanuco Cotillos was left in no man's land by his defense there! Bras Muxica showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Galindo Hortiz, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. After a rather tough play, Ortiz AFC's Galindo Hortiz got a free kick in the 43rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Faron Roson in the 47th minute of play forced Guayaybi FC's goalkeeper Bras Muxica to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodoro Pellon in the 51st minute of play forced Ortiz AFC's goalkeeper Fanuco Cotillos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58th minute of the match Baleren Trinidad sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bras Muxica skillfully saved the ball. Pastor Alvaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Bras Muxica tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 63rd minute, Lawrence Toranzo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fanuco Cotillos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cesario Solarriba in the 66th minute of the match. A collision led to Ortiz AFC getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Faron Roson hit a great ball. If Teodoro Pellon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Cesario Solarriba managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guayaybi FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cesario Solarriba was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fanuco Cotillos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
