Spectators: 6794 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1794, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Humberto Atauri got the match started through his kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Deportivo San Lorenzo's goal looked a bit too open when Medero Favalis came free, but Porfirio Guedella reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Medero Favalis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Porfirio Guedella made a huge save. In the 6th minute Medero Favalis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Porfirio Guedella saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Porfirio Guedella made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Natanael Selgas sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Deportivo San Lorenzo booed when Curuzuaba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paio Balmaceda didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Humberto Atauri came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Deportivo San Lorenzo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Humberto Atauri couldn't finish the play. Zuhaitz Castella showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xamin Capitan, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 19thth minute of the game Humberto Atauri who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Curuzuaba's Zuhaitz Castella was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Xamin Capitan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo San Lorenzo's supporters rose to their feet, but Xamin Capitan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zuhaitz Castella breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Frederico Angostina kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Porfirio Guedella. That made the score 1-1 in the 26 minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Deportivo San Lorenzo's goalkeeper Porfirio Guedella had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Balendin Cetina. Porfirio Guedella made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frederico Angostina in the 32nd minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 34 minutes into the game, when Sancho Echavarria put in a rough tackle. In the 33rd minute, one of Deportivo San Lorenzo:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Deportivo San Lorenzo. The goalkeeper, Porfirio Guedella, was totally fooled by Curuzuaba's Lluciano Armiñan, who 35 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. If Xamin Capitan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Humberto Atauri recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Guillem Arbulo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 49th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Frederico Angostina stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes Deportivo San Lorenzo got a freekick which was hit by Xamin Capitan. Humberto Atauri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zuhaitz Castella having to interfere. In the 64th minute, Joaquim Vialpando got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Xamin Capitan struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Zuhaitz Castella didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deportivo San Lorenzo. After having played for 76 minutes, Humberto Atauri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo San Lorenzo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Humberto Atauri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 78th minute, Joaquim Vialpando got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Medero Favalis kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Xamin Capitan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Humberto Atauri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Xamin Capitan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
