Spectators: 6776 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1776, VIP seats: 0) Gavilan's Tano Tijerina started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Gavilan's Melchazadec Abeyta got a free kick in the 2nd minute. After 5 played minutes Cororo got a freekick which was hit by Oinaz Esqueira. After having played for 12 minutes, Polo Cascales managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cororo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Polo Cascales was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Birjaio Graniela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Polo Cascales in the 15th minute of the match. Birjaio Graniela showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Polo Cascales, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Noe Loro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Birjaio Graniela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Polo Cascales, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Camilo Ojeda charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Camilo Ojeda the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Polo Cascales in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Birjaio Graniela saved Gavilan from getting behind.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Noe Loro to strike the kick off in the second half. Benvide Castañondo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faustino Huerga having to interfere. 58 minutes into the game, Barros Basante was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cororo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gavilan the free kick. Barros Basante kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Polo Cascales fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Birjaio Graniela having to interfere. In the 74th minute, Benvide Castañondo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gavilan fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. With a little luck, Gavilan's Birjaio Graniela got control of the ball when Richie Belarrinaga tried to sneak it across the goal line. Benvide Castañondo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 83 minutes into the match, Cororo's goal looked a bit too open when Tano Tijerina came free, but Faustino Huerga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 84 played minutes Cororo got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigo Valderas. Faustino Huerga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hondo Riaño in the 85th minute of play. In the 88th minute, Noe Loro fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Polo Cascales sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Birjaio Graniela made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Noe Loro in the 93rd minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Gavilan fans cheered their team off the field, for while Cororo had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
