If Sesuldo Vazan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 18 played minutes Gavilan got a freekick which was hit by Ximeno Espejo. When Camilo Ojeda fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gavilan's protests and gave Camilo Ojeda a yellow card for diving instead. In the 20th minute of the match Nicanor Padriña sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Birjaio Graniela skillfully saved the ball. Gavilan's Birjaio Graniela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sesuldo Vazan in the 22nd minute of play. If Sesuldo Vazan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sesuldo Vazan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Birjaio Graniela having to interfere. 29 minutes into the match, Gavilan's goal looked a bit too open when Sesuldo Vazan came free, but Birjaio Graniela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sesuldo Vazan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Birjaio Graniela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sesuldo Vazan's late challenge caught a Gavilan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sesuldo Vazan's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Birjaio Graniela firmly grabbed it by the left post. In a very dangerous position, a player in Gavilan fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 56th minute. Penalty! Birjaio Graniela had in the 57thth minute some difficulties stopping Nicanor Padriña's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 62nd minute, Sesuldo Vazan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Birjaio Graniela was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. 67 minutes into the game, Oliviero Celama was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Diarte FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gavilan the free kick. After 67 played minutes Diarte FC got a freekick which was hit by Oliviero Celama. When Tano Tijerina, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 68 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Bruno Palomarez was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Birjaio Graniela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victorino Boldu in the 71st minute of the match. 79 minutes into the match, Gavilan's goalkeeper Birjaio Graniela had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sesuldo Vazan. Sesuldo Vazan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 81stth minute tested the skills of Birjaio Graniela when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After having played for 82 minutes, Victorino Boldu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Diarte FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Victorino Boldu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Furman Manglano in the 84th minute of play forced Gavilan's goalkeeper Birjaio Graniela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Diarte FC booed when Gavilan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ximeno Espejo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 86th minute, one of Gavilan:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Gavilan. Victorino Boldu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
