When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Carlos Favalis took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Tabby Pego to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sidro Alves in the 31st minute of play forced Juventus's goalkeeper Dantel Azpiazu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 32 minutes into the match, Regis Capdevila had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dantel Azpiazu. The Juventus players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
