When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Vidal Oteo put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Teyo Sagarribay. Dominguez Fernando made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Hanot Cornejo sent off a good shot on target. Carapegua FC's Dominguez Fernando proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Carapegua FC from getting a goal against them. With his leg Dominguez Fernando managed to avoid a goal in the 24thth minute, when Atletico Ciclon Club's Hanot Cornejo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Hanot Cornejo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 28 minutes into the match, Carapegua FC's goalkeeper Dominguez Fernando had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hanot Cornejo. Rutenio Menocal hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Cibran Cerredo struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Dominguez Fernando didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atletico Ciclon Club. Rutenio Menocal kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, Carapegua FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cibran Cerredo came free, but Dominguez Fernando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 42 minutes into the match, Maximo Labarrita notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Atletico Ciclon Club's Teyo Sagarribay. Teyo Sagarribay was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 46 minutes, Maximo Labarrita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carapegua FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maximo Labarrita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Maximo Labarrita was the one to do the kick off. When Lopez Bajuelo fell near the penalty area in the 50th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atletico Ciclon Club's protests and gave Lopez Bajuelo a yellow card for diving instead. After 51 played minutes Atletico Ciclon Club got a freekick which was hit by Lopez Bajuelo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximo Labarrita in the 54th minute of play forced Atletico Ciclon Club's goalkeeper Teyo Sagarribay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dominguez Fernando came out of the goal and Hanot Cornejo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 77th minute Cibran Cerredo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dominguez Fernando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vidal Oteo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teyo Sagarribay having to interfere. When Hanot Cornejo came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Atletico Ciclon Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hanot Cornejo couldn't finish the play. Hanot Cornejo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 87th minute, Favila Murga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hanot Cornejo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Atletico Ciclon Club's goalkeeper Teyo Sagarribay, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Atletico Ciclon Club's Cibran Cerredo in the 93rd minute got a chance for a shot 93rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Carapegua FC's goalie prevented a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vidal Oteo got free with Teyo Sagarribay in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 97th minute Maximo Labarrita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teyo Sagarribay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Carapegua FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
