Guarani FC's Xuaco Calderon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Palben Potes in the 11th minute of play. In the 12th minute of the match Jorrin Montaña shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Estevam Jiron showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Urki Camango kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Estevam Jiron. That made the score 1-0 in the 13 minute of play. Xalbador Gandarillas struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Estevam Jiron didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guarani FC. Mbocayaty AFC's Estevam Jiron played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Urki Camango in the 18th minute of play. After 22 played minutes Guarani FC got a freekick which was hit by Jorrin Montaña. 23 minutes into the match, Mbocayaty AFC's Edson Gabiña broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Xuaco Calderon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Errapel Luzano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Urki Camango to make the kick off. Duarte Lijo's late challenge caught a Guarani FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Duarte Lijo helped the player get up and apologised. Duarte Lijo hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. 55 minutes into the match, Mbocayaty AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Urki Camango came free, but Estevam Jiron reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Estevam Jiron made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xalbador Gandarillas in the 69th minute of play. Xalbador Gandarillas scored 2-0 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Estevam Jiron, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 75 minutes, Batista Valderramal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mbocayaty AFC and the Guarani FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 75th minute, Batista Valderramal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Guarani FC's Xuaco Calderon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Guarani FC from getting a goal against them. When Errapel Luzano came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Mbocayaty AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Errapel Luzano couldn't finish the play. 84 minutes into the match, Mbocayaty AFC's Errapel Luzano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Xuaco Calderon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A hard shot 86 in the game by Errapel Luzano from a close distance when the talented Xuaco Calderon managed to make a qualified save. Guarani FC's players were relieved. In the 88th minute, Palben Potes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Martxelin Olate got free with Xuaco Calderon in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Errapel Luzano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Guarani FC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
