Gilabert Cuenia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pau Estebanes in the 13th minute of play. Xamo Zucunza might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Elequemedo Llanderas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Xamo Zucunza ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 21st minute, Salvidor Panadero made a precise shot to the right of Gilabert Cuenia. LA GALAXY's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. 26 minutes into the match, Xamo Zucunza notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of EL TAURO's Elequemedo Llanderas. Elequemedo Llanderas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Osoitz Arganza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elequemedo Llanderas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xamo Zucunza, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. If Xamo Zucunza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 47 minutes into the match, EL TAURO's goal looked a bit too open when Xamo Zucunza came free, but Elequemedo Llanderas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomas Puredo's late challenge caught a LA GALAXY's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tomas Puredo helped the player get up and apologised. Tomas Puredo hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The EL TAURO players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. LA GALAXY were winning 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pau Estebanes to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Xamo Zucunza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Tomas Puredo was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 55 minutes had been played. A collision led to EL TAURO getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Tomas Puredo hit a great ball. 62 minutes into the match, LA GALAXY's goal looked a bit too open when Salvidor Panadero came free, but Gilabert Cuenia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in LA GALAXY's zone, Salvidor Panadero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gilabert Cuenia came out of the goal and Salvidor Panadero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Osoitz Arganza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Osoitz Arganza could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Elequemedo Llanderas made a huge save. When the match clock showed 74 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Osoitz Arganza sped through EL TAURO's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Elequemedo Llanderas. If Osoitz Arganza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Salvidor Panadero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilabert Cuenia having to interfere. Elequemedo Llanderas made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Osoitz Arganza sent off a good shot on target. In the 94th minute, Salvidor Panadero left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The EL TAURO fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. The EL TAURO supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching LA GALAXY's performance. The match ended with a win for LA GALAXY.
