After a defensive mix-up in Arsenal de Sajonia's zone, Osoitz Arganza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eli Morquecho came out of the goal and Osoitz Arganza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arsenal de Sajonia's defense didn't have a chance, in the 5th minute, when Rico Giraldez scored to the left of an out of position Eli Morquecho, making the score, 1-0. Eli Morquecho made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Osoitz Arganza sent off a good shot on target. In the 10th minute Orlando Angostina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eli Morquecho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eli Morquecho made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Osoitz Arganza sent off a good shot on target. 12 minutes into the game, Baltasar Anguciana was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Arsenal de Sajonia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave LA GALAXY the free kick. Eli Morquecho didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 14th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. 17 minutes into the game, Xamo Zucunza was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. LA GALAXY's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Arsenal de Sajonia the free kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Perpinya Quiroz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arsenal de Sajonia's supporters rose to their feet, but Perpinya Quiroz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gilabert Cuenia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Perpinya Quiroz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilabert Cuenia having to interfere. Carlos Dulce received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Gilabert Cuenia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32nd minute, Carlos Dulce got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baltasar Anguciana in the 33rd minute of play forced LA GALAXY's goalkeeper Gilabert Cuenia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34thth minute of the game Carlos Dulce who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but LA GALAXY's Gilabert Cuenia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Arsenal de Sajonia booed when LA GALAXY was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rico Giraldez didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 39th minute Carlos Dulce shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilabert Cuenia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Perpinya Quiroz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilabert Cuenia having to interfere. In the 46th minute, LA GALAXY's Xamo Zucunza ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Eli Morquecho. Eli Morquecho yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Eli Morquecho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osoitz Arganza in the 52nd minute of play. Roberto Bipiana's late challenge caught a LA GALAXY's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roberto Bipiana helped the player get up and apologised. In the 53rd match minute, Arsenal de Sajonia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roberto Bipiana to maneuver through the defense. Gaitan Carces took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 54th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Eli Morquecho. Arsenal de Sajonia's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Eli Morquecho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osoitz Arganza, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 57th minute, Carlos Dulce fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Gilabert Cuenia, passed just outside the right post. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Carlos Dulce took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Gilabert Cuenia to make any attempt to save it. After a rather tough play, LA GALAXY's Orlando Angostina got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlos Dulce in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gilabert Cuenia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 71 minutes into the match, Arsenal de Sajonia's goal looked a bit too open when Osoitz Arganza came free, but Eli Morquecho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eli Morquecho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rico Giraldez in the 75th minute of the match. In the 76th match minute, LA GALAXY was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xamo Zucunza to maneuver through the defense. Gilabert Cuenia was a little too slow when Carlos Dulce got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 78th minute. The score was now 3-2. Gilabert Cuenia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Dulce, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Baltasar Anguciana recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gilabert Cuenia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Dulce, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. A collision led to LA GALAXY getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Xamo Zucunza hit a great ball. Carlos Dulce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilabert Cuenia having to interfere. Perpinya Quiroz scored 3-3 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gilabert Cuenia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
