Eudoxio Cordoba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Felix Botana scored 0-1 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eudoxio Cordoba, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aristides Calona got free with Xeromo Santayana in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Felix Botana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Eudoxio Cordoba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Botana in the 44th minute of play forced Olimpia's goalkeeper Eudoxio Cordoba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Xoan Arcelay struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Eudoxio Cordoba didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Naranjal AFC. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Eudoxio Cordoba was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 72 minutes into the match, Olimpia's goal looked a bit too open when Xoan Arcelay came free, but Eudoxio Cordoba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, Naranjal AFC's Eudoxio Cordoba threw himself towards the right post 92 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Xoan Arcelay, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xoan Arcelay in the 95th minute of play forced Olimpia's goalkeeper Eudoxio Cordoba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Naranjal AFC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
