The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Roque Zorrilla managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Pinguinos F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Roque Zorrilla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Urti Miñano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulises Caride in the 6th minute of play forced Delicias's goalkeeper Urti Miñano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Urti Miñano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulises Caride in the 12th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the match, Delicias's goal looked a bit too open when Ariando Cantoral came free, but Urti Miñano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rito Sotomayor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 30 minutes into the match, Rito Sotomayor notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Los Pinguinos F.C.'s Primitivo Barrasa. Primitivo Barrasa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 36th minute, Delicias's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ulises Caride fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Roque Zorrilla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ariando Cantoral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Urti Miñano having to interfere. 41 minutes into the match, Delicias's goalkeeper Urti Miñano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Thomas Villariño. Ulises Caride received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Urti Miñano came out and tried to block the shot, but Ulises Caride slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 43rd minute.

Rito Sotomayor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 60th minute Ivan Alcocer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Primitivo Barrasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 62nd minute Roque Zorrilla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Urti Miñano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rito Sotomayor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Rito Sotomayor came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Delicias fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rito Sotomayor couldn't finish the play. Primitivo Barrasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rito Sotomayor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 91 minutes into the game, Ulises Caride cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Urti Miñano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Los Pinguinos F.C.'s supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
