Ivan Asturianos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience was convinced that Ramiro Ximeno's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ivan Asturianos was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. Santxol Gayangos's late challenge caught a Chelsea FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Santxol Gayangos helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Pio FC's Santxol Gayangos got a free kick in the 17th minute. Ruben Fontecha made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rafel Villajane in the 21st minute. Caetano Uralde hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 29thth minute of the game Ramiro Ximeno who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chelsea FC's Ivan Asturianos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Pio FC's Ramiro Ximeno suffered a concussion in the 35th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. 35 minutes into the game, Mirande Asomoza was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chelsea FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pio FC the free kick. Pio FC made a substitution. Estevao Villota replaced Ramiro Ximeno. After 37 played minutes Chelsea FC got a freekick which was hit by Mirande Asomoza. Estevao Villota fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ivan Asturianos having to interfere. If Yoelvis Roldan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Estevao Villota in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ivan Asturianos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Estevao Villota stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Chelsea FC's goalkeeper Ivan Asturianos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Estevao Villota. The audience thought a goal was coming when Estevao Villota got free with Ivan Asturianos in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience thought a goal was coming when Estevao Villota got free with Ivan Asturianos in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Chelsea FC's Ivan Asturianos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Chelsea FC from getting a goal against them. Oxarra Teberga's late challenge caught a Pio FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Oxarra Teberga helped the player get up and apologised. Ivan Asturianos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Estevao Villota in the 69th minute of play. Ivan Asturianos was out of position in the 71 minute of play, and Estevao Villota capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Estevao Villota really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. In the 75th minute Bertol Lormendez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruben Fontecha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chelsea FC's Oxarra Teberga got his second yellow card of the match in the 76th minute. The referee ordered Oxarra Teberga off the ground. The supporters of Pio FC booed when Chelsea FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oxarra Teberga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Santxol Gayangos was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 77th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Ivan Asturianos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Estevao Villota, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Estevao Villota who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 82ndth minute tested the skills of Ivan Asturianos when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Estevao Villota in the 86thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ivan Asturianos, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Estevao Villota in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ivan Asturianos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With his leg Ivan Asturianos managed to avoid a goal in the 94thth minute, when Pio FC's Estevao Villota fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Pio FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
