Faint FC's Tiburcio Aleja played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mane Marquez in the 42nd minute of play. Xzavaier Saiz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gomesano Ontanilla in the 43rd minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mane Marquez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tomas Clusella's late challenge caught a Faint FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 94th minute James Trubica shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiburcio Aleja saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Xalvador Hornedo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Faint FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Xalvador Hornedo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Xzavaier Saiz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Faint FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
