Spectators: 6940 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1940, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gitano Noguer got the match started through his kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gitano Noguer in the 4th minute of play forced Naranjito's goalkeeper Fertus Urquioja to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gitano Noguer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fertus Urquioja having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Firman Caborredondo in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paulin Ungia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 24 minutes into the match, Naranjito's goal looked a bit too open when Gitano Noguer came free, but Fertus Urquioja reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th minute Firman Caborredondo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulin Ungia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zuriko Piñeiros's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paulin Ungia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. With a little luck, Cerro Porteño's Paulin Ungia got control of the ball when Zuriko Piñeiros tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zuriko Piñeiros got free with Paulin Ungia in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cerro Porteño's Paulin Ungia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Cerro Porteño from getting a goal against them. Fertus Urquioja came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Cerro Porteño's Ximenez Lario. But to his dismay, Ximenez Lario quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Ximenez Lario fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fertus Urquioja having to interfere. After 47 played minutes Cerro Porteño got a freekick which was hit by Chabier Horna. Naranjito's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joachim Morentin in the 51st minute. A nice corner shot did that Joachim Morentin got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Paulin Ungia quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Firman Caborredondo made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Cerro Porteño getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Chabier Horna hit a great ball. In the 56th minute Firman Caborredondo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulin Ungia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zuriko Piñeiros struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Paulin Ungia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Naranjito. In the 66th minute, Ximenez Lario got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Firman Caborredondo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 72nd match minute, Cerro Porteño was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chabier Horna to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 74 minutes, Zuriko Piñeiros put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Paulin Ungia. After 77 played minutes Naranjito got a freekick which was hit by Araoz Rabago. In the 83rd minute, Zuriko Piñeiros ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Paulin Ungia was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. In the 87th minute, Ximenez Lario got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zuriko Piñeiros in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paulin Ungia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Firman Caborredondo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Paulin Ungia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cerro Porteño's Paulin Ungia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zuriko Piñeiros in the 98th minute of play. Naranjito's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
