Spectators: 8600 (Terracing: 6450, Seating: 1978, VIP seats: 172) Lupus F.C.'s Milio Toyo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Adalberto Villaba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The referee ignored Estrella Verde C.F.'s protests and gave Dario Porres a yellow card for diving instead. In the 12th match minute, Estrella Verde C.F. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dario Porres to maneuver through the defense. In the 14th minute Dominic Ron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lopez Raigal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner ended in Valiente Bueres almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Estrella Verde C.F.'s Lopez Raigal did a great save. When Duarte Iturralde got free in front of the goal in the 18th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Bikendi Barril was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After 19 minutes, Valiente Bueres mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lupus F.C. and the Estrella Verde C.F. players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 19th match minute, Lupus F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valiente Bueres to maneuver through the defense. Bikendi Barril made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adalberto Villaba in the 21st minute of play. Estrella Verde C.F.'s Severino Zuñiga was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Bikendi Barril in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After having played for 25 minutes, Zarbonin Esnarriaga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lupus F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Zarbonin Esnarriaga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Duarte Iturralde managed to get in a good position for a shot. Estrella Verde C.F.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Duarte Iturralde was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bikendi Barril breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Lupus F.C.'s zone, Adalberto Villaba stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bikendi Barril came out of the goal and Adalberto Villaba tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Estrella Verde C.F.'s Adalberto Villaba got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Duarte Iturralde sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A throw-in in the 44th minute of the game was made by Adalberto Villaba with Severino Zuñiga as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Duarte Iturralde was the one to do the kick off. Duarte Iturralde fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bikendi Barril having to interfere. Severino Zuñiga made in the 59th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Lupus F.C.'s Valiente Bueres. An unexpected shot in the 61st minute by Duarte Iturralde got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 69th minute, Duarte Iturralde reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bikendi Barril. The goal made the score 0-1. After a rather tough play, Lupus F.C.'s Martinez Vallino got a free kick in the 74th minute. Estrella Verde C.F.'s Severino Zuñiga got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bikendi Barril made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Gartzen Ucedo sent off a good shot on target. Dominic Ron received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Lopez Raigal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Duarte Iturralde who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 81stth minute tested the skills of Bikendi Barril when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Gartzen Ucedo kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match.
