The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ermano Averasturi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpected shot in the 65th minute by Stephen Lerdo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Ermano Averasturi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Garikoitz Amesquita went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. If Stephen Lerdo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
