The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Ybaroty booed when Lupus F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Venceslas Carrasco didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Lupus F.C.'s zone, Fe Albisu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bikendi Barril came out of the goal and Fe Albisu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bikendi Barril dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After some careless play in the Lupus F.C. defense, Rufio Caldero kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bikendi Barril. The Lupus F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bikendi Barril should have stopped the shot. Henrico Buiza kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Lupus F.C.'s Valiente Bueres got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Feliz Agüeros kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. After having played for 42 minutes, Milio Toyo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lupus F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Milio Toyo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bikendi Barril made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Azibar Moñiz in the 46th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Azibar Moñiz in the 48th minute of play forced Lupus F.C.'s goalkeeper Bikendi Barril to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

In the 54th minute Lupus F.C. were awarded a corner. Valiente Bueres went to the cornerflag to take it. If Dominic Ron had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The long shot by Dino Luis in the 89th minute really tested Bikendi Barril's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Rufio Caldero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ybaroty's supporters rose to their feet, but Rufio Caldero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bikendi Barril breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
