Vidal Rufrancos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Garikoitz Amesquita went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 22nd minute, Ubarna Barredo made a precise shot to the right of Vidal Rufrancos. Luqua's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. 29 minutes into the match, ⭐Paraguay Stars⭐'s Garikoitz Amesquita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vidal Rufrancos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 30 played minutes Luqua got a freekick which was hit by Guilllermo Prellezo. Vidal Rufrancos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Garikoitz Amesquita's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Luqua's Baldomiro Abaurre got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mancio Bornes kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Paz Valdespino kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in ⭐Paraguay Stars⭐'s zone, Baldomiro Abaurre stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jerrald Era came out of the goal and Baldomiro Abaurre tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half ⭐Paraguay Stars⭐ were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Garikoitz Amesquita was the one to do the kick off. If Baldomiro Abaurre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Donatello Hoyo during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Luqua's Donatello Hoyo got a free kick in the 55th minute. A long shot from Lidon Letran in the 56th minute of play was well struck, but Vidal Rufrancos made a really good save at the right post. Jerrald Era was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jerrald Era made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilberto Ciaran in the 90th minute of play. Gilberto Ciaran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Baldomiro Abaurre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
