Spectators: 7600 (Terracing: 6000, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 100) El Purete's Luisito Etxekopar started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Luisito Etxekopar struck a weak shot in the 6th minute. Maximo Escajedo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Purete. Aquilino Escapa's late challenge caught a San Lorenzo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aquilino Escapa helped the player get up and apologised. After having played for 12 minutes, Luisito Etxekopar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Purete's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luisito Etxekopar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Maximo Escajedo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Xayvion Alcano in the 15th minute. Maximo Escajedo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Xayvion Alcano's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. In the 25th minute Adolphe Omblets shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximo Escajedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 28th minute, Tohias Perdomo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With 30 minutes on the clock, Gomesano Dalmases commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 31 played minutes San Lorenzo got a freekick which was hit by Gomesano Dalmases. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Ekhi Aguila managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Purete's supporters rose to their feet, but Ekhi Aguila was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maximo Escajedo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 40 minutes into the match, San Lorenzo's goal looked a bit too open when Luisito Etxekopar came free, but Maximo Escajedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maximo Escajedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luisito Etxekopar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Xayvion Alcano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Maximo Escajedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maximo Escajedo made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Aquilino Escapa sent off a good shot on target. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Amador Elicegui to make the kick off. Maximo Escajedo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xayvion Alcano in the 52nd minute of the match. Maximo Escajedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adolphe Omblets, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 57th minute Luisito Etxekopar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximo Escajedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 59 minutes into the match, Oliverios Lluberas notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of San Lorenzo's Maximo Escajedo. Maximo Escajedo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luisito Etxekopar in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maximo Escajedo saved San Lorenzo from getting behind. Maximo Escajedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xayvion Alcano in the 64th minute of play. Xaver Pidrola kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Maximo Escajedo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Xayvion Alcano's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ekhi Aguila in the 71st minute of play forced San Lorenzo's goalkeeper Maximo Escajedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Xayvion Alcano came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the El Purete fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xayvion Alcano couldn't finish the play. In the 76thth minute of the game Luisito Etxekopar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but San Lorenzo's Maximo Escajedo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Tohias Perdomo fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored San Lorenzo's protests and gave Tohias Perdomo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 78th minute, Tohias Perdomo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, El Purete's Oliverios Lluberas tried to score from far away in the 79th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 81st minute, Aquilino Escapa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The El Purete fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. If Xayvion Alcano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 89th match minute, El Purete was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ekhi Aguila to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Lando Agustino from long distance, 90 minutes into the match, got Boleslaw Wysocki's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Xayvion Alcano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Maximo Escajedo having to make a save. When the referee ended the match the El Purete players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
