Katia Novales stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yaniusky Mercadillo's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. When the match clock showed 11 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Yaniusky Mercadillo sped through Felicidad's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Katia Novales. When Yaniusky Mercadillo came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Mbutuy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yaniusky Mercadillo couldn't finish the play. When Maurino Bartolome came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Mbutuy fans jumped to their feet. When Belarmo Hilari fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mbutuy's protests and gave Belarmo Hilari a yellow card for diving instead. Belarmo Hilari kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Mbutuy's zone, Gorka Ezquibela stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Onofre Liaño came out of the goal and Gorka Ezquibela tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 33 minutes into the match, Felicidad's goal looked a bit too open when Yaniusky Mercadillo came free, but Katia Novales reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, Mbutuy's goal looked a bit too open when Gorka Ezquibela came free, but Onofre Liaño reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomi Betzanos's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 38thth minute, Onofre Liaño skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Yaniusky Mercadillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Katia Novales tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Belarmo Hilari kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gorka Ezquibela during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Felicidad getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Gorka Ezquibela hit a great ball. Katia Novales made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yaniusky Mercadillo in the 48th minute of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Yaniusky Mercadillo was the one to do the kick off. Quinten Palma blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Onofre Liaño having to make a save. Yaniusky Mercadillo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomi Betzanos in the 57th minute of play forced Mbutuy's goalkeeper Onofre Liaño to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Onofre Liaño took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chaime Baraña, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yaniusky Mercadillo struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Katia Novales didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mbutuy. A hard shot 66 in the game by Yaniusky Mercadillo from a close distance when the talented Katia Novales managed to make a qualified save. Felicidad's players were relieved. 68 minutes into the match, Gorka Ezquibela notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Mbutuy's Onofre Liaño. Onofre Liaño was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Yaniusky Mercadillo might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Katia Novales. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Yaniusky Mercadillo ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Mbutuy getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Yaniusky Mercadillo hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomi Betzanos in the 84th minute of play forced Mbutuy's goalkeeper Onofre Liaño to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yaniusky Mercadillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Katia Novales tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Mouricio Herencia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yaniusky Mercadillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Katia Novales made a huge save. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Felicidad were victorious despite being under pressure from Mbutuy for much of the match.
