An unexpectedly hard shot by Mohieddine Ayari in the 7th minute of play forced FITO APPLE TEAM's goalkeeper 杨凌升 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Duarte Marinho kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. In the 11th minute, Moreno Martins ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. 杨凌升 was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind CERRO PORTEÑO's goalkeeper Jiang Lei, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 杨凌升 came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by CERRO PORTEÑO's Mohieddine Ayari. But to his dismay, Mohieddine Ayari quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. After a rather tough play, CERRO PORTEÑO's Mohieddine Ayari got a free kick in the 22nd minute. The supporters of FITO APPLE TEAM booed when CERRO PORTEÑO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moreno Martins didn't get a good kick on the ball. CERRO PORTEÑO's Jiang Lei proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save CERRO PORTEÑO from getting a goal against them. A collision led to FITO APPLE TEAM getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Valentine Hernandez hit a great ball. Jiang Lei made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Valentine Hernandez sent off a good shot on target. 30 minutes into the game, Valentine Hernandez recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jiang Lei. Valentine Hernandez showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. After some careless play in the FITO APPLE TEAM defense, 王树帆 kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of 杨凌升. The FITO APPLE TEAM fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that 杨凌升 should have stopped the shot. When Mohieddine Ayari fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CERRO PORTEÑO's protests and gave Mohieddine Ayari a yellow card for diving instead. After 41 played minutes CERRO PORTEÑO got a freekick which was hit by Mohieddine Ayari. 杨凌升 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mohieddine Ayari, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 2-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Valentine Hernandez to make the kick off. Teobald Zaremba charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Teobald Zaremba the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. With an all-out effort, CERRO PORTEÑO's 杨凌升 threw himself towards the right post 91 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mohieddine Ayari, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Valentine Hernandez came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the FITO APPLE TEAM fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valentine Hernandez couldn't finish the play. The CERRO PORTEÑO players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
