Through an outstanding action, after 23 minutes, Elio Rojas successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. A collision led to AC Cibao getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Antonio Peguero hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Iván Ulibarri in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alejandro Franco saved AC Cibao from getting behind. In a very dangerous position, a player in Garabito AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 37th minute. Penalty! 42 minutes into the game, Prospero Cisco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Elio Rojas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Garabito AFC's Elio Rojas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Prospero Cisco in the 45th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Urban Jespersson was the one to do the kick off. After 52 minutes, Prospero Cisco made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Garabito AFC's Elio Rojas tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Abel Padilla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alejandro Franco having to interfere. Garabito AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Prospero Cisco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. A collision led to Garabito AFC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Iván Ulibarri hit a great ball. Elio Rojas didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when AC Cibao's Urban Jespersson shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 9-0 in the ordered_time% minute. When the match clock showed 90 minutes, the score became 10-0 when Prospero Cisco sped through Garabito AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Elio Rojas. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. AC Cibao had played much better football throughout.
