Rodrigo Parra came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Farfán AD's Celestino Osorio. But to his dismay, Celestino Osorio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Rodrigo Parra stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Franco Delgado's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. If Celestino Osorio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 19 minutes into the match, Farfán AD's goal looked a bit too open when Clemente Zamora came free, but José Maria Arbizu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Apolinar Centeno hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Farfán AD's José Maria Arbizu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clemente Zamora in the 27th minute of play. Rodrigo Parra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celestino Osorio in the 31st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Humberto Willick got free with José Maria Arbizu in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Celestino Osorio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Rodrigo Parra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Humberto Willick struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. José Maria Arbizu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Azua. In the 54thth minute of the game Clemente Zamora who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Farfán AD's José Maria Arbizu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Victoriano Del Solar during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Franco Delgado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Rodrigo Parra made a huge save. Rodrigo Parra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celestino Osorio, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. When Humberto Willick came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Azua fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Humberto Willick couldn't finish the play. Azua's Rodrigo Parra proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Azua from getting a goal against them. Franco Delgado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Rodrigo Parra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jorge Valdez's late challenge caught a Farfán AD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jorge Valdez helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Azua fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 70th minute. Penalty! 82 minutes into the match, Farfán AD's goal looked a bit too open when Clemente Zamora came free, but José Maria Arbizu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 83rd minute Clemente Zamora shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Maria Arbizu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Clemente Zamora had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Humberto Willick sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Farfán AD getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Jenaro Peguero hit a great ball. Farfán AD's José Maria Arbizu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Madrid in the 96th minute of play. Celestino Osorio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Rodrigo Parra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Azua supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Farfán AD's performance. The match ended with a win for Farfán AD.
