Spectators: 6864 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1864, VIP seats: 0) The referee felt a red card was in order, 10 minutes into the game, when Rubén Prieto put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 9th minute of the game. One of Bocachica:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Baoruco:s goal. Deivi Craddock walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. After some careless play in the Bocachica defense, Arturo Burton kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rob Fajardo. The Bocachica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rob Fajardo should have stopped the shot. Eude Carrizo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rob Fajardo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. After 26 played minutes Baoruco got a freekick which was hit by Edwards Franco. Rob Fajardo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arturo Burton in the 31st minute. When Eude Carrizo came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Baoruco fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eude Carrizo couldn't finish the play. In the 34th minute Eude Carrizo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rob Fajardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bocachica's Rob Fajardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eude Carrizo in the 36th minute of play. Bocachica's Leonardo Zabaleta got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 42nd minute Eude Carrizo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rob Fajardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 43rd match minute, Bocachica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonardo Zabaleta to maneuver through the defense. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bocachica's goalkeeper Rob Fajardo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Arturo Burton managed to get in a good position for a shot. Baoruco's supporters rose to their feet, but Arturo Burton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rob Fajardo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

In the 53rd minute, James Espinoza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vinicio Corrales kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. James Espinoza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gervasio Tejeda having to interfere. José Godín blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gervasio Tejeda having to make a save. The supporters of Bocachica booed when Baoruco was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Deivi Craddock didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Eude Carrizo came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Baoruco fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eude Carrizo couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Bocachica getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. José Godín hit a great ball. In the 76th minute, Deivi Craddock hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arturo Burton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leonardo Zabaleta's late challenge caught a Baoruco's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leonardo Zabaleta helped the player get up and apologised. Leonardo Zabaleta kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. 85 minutes into the game, Eude Carrizo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Rob Fajardo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fabio Godoy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gervasio Tejeda having to interfere. Baoruco's Eude Carrizo got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fabio Godoy hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. If Eude Carrizo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Baoruco's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
