With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adolfo Mercado in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rob Fajardo saved Bocachica from getting behind. Adolfo Mercado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Quilvio Bazán stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bocachica's Quilvio Bazán got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Héctor Nava showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from James Espinoza, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. James Espinoza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Héctor Nava having to interfere. Héctor Nava stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Quilvio Bazán's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. If Adolfo Mercado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the Sabana de la Mar UF players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Bocachica.
