Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After a rather tough play, Postrer Rio AF's Gilberto Vega got a free kick in the 15th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paolo Vargas in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arturo Miramontes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Izzy Tello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arturo Miramontes having to interfere. Postrer Rio AF's Gilberto Vega got his second yellow card of the match in the 23rd minute. The referee ordered Gilberto Vega off the ground. Gilberto Vega kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Paolo Vargas struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. In the 45th minute of the match Henry Rentería sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arturo Miramontes skillfully saved the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Paolo Vargas made a kick off. In the 59th minute Omar Reyna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arturo Miramontes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paolo Vargas might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arturo Miramontes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Flavio Lugano during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Flavio Lugano hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. In the 91st minute, one of Postrer Rio AF:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Postrer Rio AF. Arturo Miramontes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paolo Vargas, who was totally free with the ball in the 101st minute. Miches AD were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
