When Blas Pennigan fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tenares CF's protests and gave Blas Pennigan a yellow card for diving instead. After 6 played minutes Tenares CF got a freekick which was hit by Blas Pennigan. Vinicio Heureaux showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidoro Soria in the 12th minute of the match. Isidoro Soria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Vinicio Heureaux tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 25 minutes into the match, Josué Haas notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Tenares CF's Vinicio Heureaux. Vinicio Heureaux was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Josué Haas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Isidoro Soria in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rogerio Bustamante to strike the kick off in the second half. Camilo Quinton hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. The Tenares CF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1.
