Banica AD's Alonso Pineda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Merlin Alfau in the 16th minute of play. El Cercado's attack was well implemented in the 20th minute, but when Merlin Alfau was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. If Arthur Valdivia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Merlin Alfau to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute, Sebastián Arroyo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Banica AD fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Alonso Pineda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Merlin Alfau in the 63rd minute of the match. Baudelio Castro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 80 minutes into the match, Banica AD's Arthur Valdivia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Epifanio Montañas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Sebastián Arroyo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Banica AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Sebastián Arroyo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Epifanio Montañas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 86 minutes, Andrés Luque mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El Cercado and the Banica AD players grew even worse after the yellow card. 85 minutes into the game, one of El Cercado:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Banica AD a penalty, 87 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Yohan Heath, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of El Cercado's Epifanio Montañas. 3-0. If Arthur Valdivia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arthur Valdivia in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Epifanio Montañas saved El Cercado from getting behind. If Baudelio Castro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Merlin Alfau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 99th minute of the match, Adriano Balbo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Alonso Pineda was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. El Cercado's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
