Pablo Montoya could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Juan José Ponce made a huge save. Juan José Ponce was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Pablo Montoya showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 28 minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Constanza's goal looked a bit too open when Domingo Noriega came free, but Marcio Herrera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Peralta reached it. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Isidoro Albam was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Peralta getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Celio Zapata hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Domingo Noriega in the 55th minute of play forced Constanza's goalkeeper Marcio Herrera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pablo Cadena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
