Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) In the 7th minute, Aurelio Ulibarri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roberto Benavides in the 13th minute of play forced Los Cacaos's goalkeeper Gonzalo Rosales to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Balduino Medina could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Ruben Ureña made a huge save. 16 minutes into the game, Al Canal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CAIM FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Los Cacaos the free kick. Al Canal hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Balduino Medina in the 19thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ruben Ureña, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Alexi Diaz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Los Cacaos's Balduino Medina got a free kick in the 33rd minute. With a little luck, CAIM FC's Ruben Ureña got control of the ball when Balduino Medina tried to sneak it across the goal line. Balduino Medina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ruben Ureña made an important save on a dangerous shot by Balduino Medina in the 45th minute. Los Cacaos's Balduino Medina was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 47th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alexi Diaz made a kick off. Alexi Diaz succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 57th playminute. In the 61st minute Nicolás Mercedes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruben Ureña saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gonzalo Rosales made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alexi Diaz in the 63rd minute. When the match had gone on for 65 minutes, Nicolás Mercedes put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Ruben Ureña. Balduino Medina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruben Ureña having to interfere. When Los Cacaos's Nicolás Mercedes in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye CAIM FC's goalie prevented a goal. Balduino Medina struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Ruben Ureña didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Cacaos. 80 minutes into the match, Los Cacaos's Balduino Medina sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ruben Ureña narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 84 minutes, Balduino Medina managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Cacaos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Balduino Medina was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Nicolás Mercedes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Los Cacaos booed when CAIM FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roberto Benavides didn't get a good kick on the ball. Balduino Medina recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. CAIM FC's Ruben Ureña played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolás Mercedes in the 93rd minute of play. A collision led to Los Cacaos getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. James Córdova hit a great ball. Balduino Medina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Ruben Ureña tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
