The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hanley Ochoa to strike the kick off in the second half. Eder Umaña's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Willy De La Hoz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. Moisés Bartlett fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Willy De La Hoz having to interfere. Moisés Bartlett sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Victoriano Vela blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Willy De La Hoz having to make a save. If Moisés Bartlett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Peravia eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
