In the 16th minute, Miches's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Raimundo Hortas fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Armando Herrero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Consuelo CD's supporters rose to their feet, but Armando Herrero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Michael Bartlett breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raimundo Hortas in the 20th minute of play forced Miches's goalkeeper Michael Bartlett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 21 minutes into the game, José Maria Reynoso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bartolo Melgar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Willy Lara in the 33rd minute of the match. Michael Bartlett made an important save on a dangerous shot by Armando Herrero in the 36th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

In the 52nd minute, Federico Ávila left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Consuelo CD fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Michael Bartlett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elio Arrieta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Raimundo Hortas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 70 minutes, Armando Herrero made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Miches's Michael Bartlett tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Emanuel Serra kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Armando Herrero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Wilfredo Arce fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Miches's protests and gave Wilfredo Arce a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Consuelo CD booed when Miches was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilfredo Arce didn't get a good kick on the ball. 81 minutes into the game, Armando Herrero cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Michael Bartlett was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 86thth minute of the game Armando Herrero who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Miches's Michael Bartlett was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Willy Lara struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Bartolo Melgar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Miches. Thanks to some nice moves Ricardo Cazorla could shoot a difficult shot in the 89th minute, which Bartolo Melgar however easily saved by the left post. Miches's Runelvys Cano got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Miches's Michael Bartlett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raimundo Hortas in the 96th minute of play.
