In the 9th minute, Guido Albacete got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in HORTA UA's zone, Guido Albacete stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elías Willick came out of the goal and Guido Albacete tried to chip the ball over his head. When Marino Almaguer fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored HORTA UA's protests and gave Marino Almaguer a yellow card for diving instead. In the 22nd minute, Marino Almaguer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luis Peralta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abraham Riojas in the 26th minute of the match. After 27 minutes, Armando Montaño mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PaSantes de la UASD and the HORTA UA players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, PaSantes de la UASD's Armando Montaño got a free kick in the 27th minute. If Max Centurión had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Armando Montaño kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. In the 31st minute Abraham Riojas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luis Peralta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Guido Albacete managed to get in a good position for a shot. PaSantes de la UASD's supporters rose to their feet, but Guido Albacete was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elías Willick breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. HORTA UA's Elías Willick played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yordany Arellano in the 35th minute of play. PaSantes de la UASD's Luis Peralta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abraham Riojas in the 38th minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, HORTA UA's Max Centurión sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luis Peralta narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, PaSantes de la UASD's Runelvys Roldán got a free kick in the 41st minute. Max Centurión received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Luis Peralta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luis Peralta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abraham Riojas in the 46th minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Abraham Riojas made a kick off. Abraham Riojas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 55 played minutes PaSantes de la UASD got a freekick which was hit by Rob Tejeda. Abraham Riojas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, PaSantes de la UASD's Luis Peralta got control of the ball when Max Centurión tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Max Centurión had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 69 minutes, Guido Albacete managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PaSantes de la UASD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guido Albacete was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 70thth minute of the game Yordany Arellano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but HORTA UA's Elías Willick was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Yordany Arellano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Elías Willick having to make a save. Elías Willick came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by PaSantes de la UASD's Guido Albacete. But to his dismay, Guido Albacete quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 77 minutes into the match, HORTA UA's Max Centurión sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luis Peralta narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Evaristo Segovia hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. In the 87th minute, Max Centurión fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Luis Peralta, passed just outside the right post. Yordany Arellano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Yordany Arellano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. For all the effort they put into the match, the HORTA UA players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for PaSantes de la UASD.
