In the 11thth minute of the game Guido Albacete who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Salcedo's Arthur Friedman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Luis Peralta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pablo Pacheco, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. 24 minutes into the game, Marcelo Armstrong cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Luis Peralta was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Pablo Pacheco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 34 minutes into the match, Salcedo's Marcelo Armstrong sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luis Peralta narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Marcelo Armstrong sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Armando Montaño kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Florencio Zavala kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yordany Arellano in the 48th minute of play forced Salcedo's goalkeeper Arthur Friedman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Rob Tejeda hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. The attack was good, but when Marcelo Armstrong in the 57th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Salcedo's Arthur Friedman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Salcedo from getting a goal against them. The supporters of PaSantes de la UASD booed when Salcedo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hanley Seijas didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 72 minutes, Guido Albacete managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PaSantes de la UASD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guido Albacete was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Beltrán Páez charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Beltrán Páez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Salcedo's Beltrán Páez got a free kick in the 74th minute. Arthur Friedman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yordany Arellano in the 75th minute of play. Luis Peralta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pablo Pacheco, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. PaSantes de la UASD's Virgilio Austen shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 82nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Arthur Friedman but with some difficulty. Arthur Friedman was out of position in the 83 minute of play, and Yordany Arellano capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Yordany Arellano really showed his touch with that goal: 2-3. After a rather tough play, PaSantes de la UASD's Armando Montaño got a free kick in the 86th minute. PaSantes de la UASD's Luis Peralta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pablo Pacheco in the 87th minute of play.
