Spectators: 6050 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 50) Pablo Pacheco started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. When Marino Urrutia came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the El Pinar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marino Urrutia couldn't finish the play. 4 minutes into the game, Hanley Seijas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Salcedo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave El Pinar the free kick. 5 minutes into the game, El Pinar's Arthur Salinas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arthur Friedman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 17th minute Marino Urrutia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arthur Friedman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arthur Friedman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arthur Salinas, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. After a rather tough play, Salcedo's Leonidas Ojeda got a free kick in the 25th minute. Marino Urrutia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arthur Salinas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 33 minutes into the match, Salcedo's goal looked a bit too open when Arthur Salinas came free, but Arthur Friedman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arthur Friedman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marino Urrutia went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. When Hanley Seijas was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 43 minutes had been played. Timoteo Smith was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 45th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The Salcedo players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. El Pinar were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arthur Salinas to make the kick off. El Pinar's Marino Urrutia got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arthur Salinas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arthur Friedman having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Arthur Salinas in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arthur Friedman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marcelo Armstrong blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ceferino Del Solar having to make a save. If Arthur Salinas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marino Urrutia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 71 minutes into the match, El Pinar's Arthur Salinas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arthur Friedman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 76 played minutes El Pinar got a freekick which was hit by Severino Aiza. After a defensive mix-up in Salcedo's zone, Marino Urrutia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arthur Friedman came out of the goal and Marino Urrutia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 89 minutes into the match, Salcedo's goalkeeper Arthur Friedman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marino Urrutia. If Marino Urrutia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Salcedo fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. El Pinar were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
