Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Octavio Umaña kicked off to start the match. Gustavo Olivas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Fierro in the 8th minute of play forced Arroyo Blanco's goalkeeper Alfonso Parra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 9th minute, Alfonso Turnbull got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 11th minute of the match, Baldomero Arredondo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Bruno Mercedes was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 12th match minute, El Llano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucio Palacio to maneuver through the defense. Arroyo Blanco's Octavio Umaña got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 15th minute, Alfonso Turnbull left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The El Llano fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pedro Fierro in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alfonso Parra saved Arroyo Blanco from getting behind. 25 minutes into the match, Pedro Fierro notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Arroyo Blanco's Alfonso Parra. Alfonso Parra was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 30th minute Octavio Umaña shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Mercedes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 32 played minutes, Arroyo Blanco's Roberto Clark shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bruno Mercedes came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Arroyo Blanco reached it. Alfonso Parra came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by El Llano's Pedro Fierro. But to his dismay, Pedro Fierro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. The Arroyo Blanco players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. El Llano were winning 0-3.

The referee felt a red card was in order, 55 minutes into the game, when Isandro Valencia put in a rough tackle. 54 minutes into the game, one of Arroyo Blanco:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 56 minutes, El Llano's Yorkis Esquivel got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Alfonso Parra. Gustavo Olivas hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Baldomero Arredondo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Arroyo Blanco's supporters rose to their feet, but Baldomero Arredondo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bruno Mercedes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 68th minute, Salomón Vinicio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The El Llano fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. After 71 played minutes, El Llano's Yorkis Esquivel shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alfonso Parra came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in El Llano reached it. After 76 minutes Arroyo Blanco's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Yorkis Esquivel who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on El Llano's corner Yorkis Esquivel fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Alfonso Parra quite easily take care of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in El Llano's zone, Jacinto Casagrande stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bruno Mercedes came out of the goal and Jacinto Casagrande tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pedro Fierro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 82ndth minute tested the skills of Alfonso Parra when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Alfonso Parra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfonso Turnbull in the 83rd minute of play. Toribio Burton hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. When Alfonso Turnbull came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the El Llano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfonso Turnbull couldn't finish the play. Alfonso Parra made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Pedro Fierro sent off a good shot on target. In the 97th minute, El Llano's Evaristo Griffin dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. When the match was over El Llano could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Arroyo Blanco throughout the match.
