Teobaldo Fuentes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfonso Turnbull in the 12th minute of play. A collision led to World Class getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Ignacio Boyd hit a great ball. Pedro Fierro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Teobaldo Fuentes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Teobaldo Fuentes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfonso Turnbull in the 19th minute of play. Teobaldo Fuentes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfonso Turnbull in the 24th minute of the match. Teobaldo Fuentes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfonso Turnbull, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th minute, Pedro Fierro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Teobaldo Fuentes was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Evaristo Griffin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teobaldo Fuentes having to interfere. In the 38th minute Pedro Fierro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teobaldo Fuentes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 39 minutes into the game, Ignacio Boyd was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. World Class's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave El Llano the free kick. Raimundo Ruiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Bruno Mercedes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 43rd minute, Evaristo Griffin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carmelo Muñiz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 45th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Bruno Mercedes. El Llano's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Teobaldo Fuentes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alfonso Turnbull went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pedro Fierro was the one to do the kick off. 59 minutes into the match, Pedro Fierro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Teobaldo Fuentes. World Class's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pedro Fierro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. World Class's Teobaldo Fuentes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfonso Turnbull in the 66th minute of play. In the 69th minute, Alfonso Turnbull made a precise shot to the right of Teobaldo Fuentes. World Class's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. El Llano's Bruno Mercedes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save El Llano from getting a goal against them. World Class's Ignacio Boyd got his second yellow card of the match in the 74th minute. The referee ordered Ignacio Boyd off the ground. The supporters of El Llano booed when World Class was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ignacio Boyd didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pedro Fierro struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Teobaldo Fuentes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Llano. Raimundo Ruiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Bruno Mercedes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Pedro Fierro fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Llano's protests and gave Pedro Fierro a yellow card for diving instead. After 89 played minutes El Llano got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Fierro. After some careless play in the World Class defense, Pedro Fierro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Teobaldo Fuentes. The World Class fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Teobaldo Fuentes should have stopped the shot. There was no doubt that El Llano were the better team. El Llano's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
