Spectators: 7499 (Terracing: 5624, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Rob Melgar kicked off to start the match. The audience was convinced that Raimundo Ruiz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alfonso Espinoza was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. After 7 minutes Independencia CF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ivan Abbott who took care of the corner kick. Independencia CF's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. A collision led to Independencia CF getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Ramiro Peguero hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Independencia CF's Yorkis Barela got a free kick in the 14th minute. If Mendy Rubio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in World Class's zone, Narciso Gartzi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teobaldo Fuentes came out of the goal and Narciso Gartzi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Amadeo Frederiks short, quick shot in the 37thth minute got Teobaldo Fuentes to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 38 played minutes World Class got a freekick which was hit by Raimundo Ruiz. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Narciso Gartzi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Independencia CF's supporters rose to their feet, but Narciso Gartzi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teobaldo Fuentes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Amadeo Frederik got free with Teobaldo Fuentes in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Amadeo Frederik didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 2-0 via right post in the game's 43rd minute. Independencia CF's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Amadeo Frederik stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Amadeo Frederik came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Independencia CF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amadeo Frederik couldn't finish the play. 56 minutes into the match, Independencia CF's Amadeo Frederik sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Teobaldo Fuentes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Independencia CF fans' excitement grew in the 58th match minute when Independencia CF's Amadeo Frederik looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After having played for 65 minutes, Narciso Gartzi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Independencia CF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Narciso Gartzi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. World Class's Teobaldo Fuentes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amadeo Frederik in the 69th minute of play. Narciso Gartzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Teobaldo Fuentes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the World Class defense, Amadeo Frederik kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Teobaldo Fuentes. The World Class fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Teobaldo Fuentes should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Amadeo Frederik in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Teobaldo Fuentes saved World Class from getting behind. 76 minutes into the game, Eusebio Burton was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. World Class's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Independencia CF the free kick. Eusebio Burton hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amadeo Frederik in the 78th minute of play forced World Class's goalkeeper Teobaldo Fuentes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 83 played minutes Independencia CF got a freekick which was hit by Narciso Gartzi. In the 84thth minute of the game Rob Melgar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Independencia CF's Alfonso Espinoza was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When World Class's Rob Melgar in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Independencia CF's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Independencia CF getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Rudy Villarreal hit a great ball. In the 87thth minute of the game Amadeo Frederik who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but World Class's Teobaldo Fuentes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 91st minute, Rob Melgar reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Alfonso Espinoza. The goal made the score 4-1. The audience was convinced that Amadeo Frederik's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Teobaldo Fuentes was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. Independencia CF's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
