Molza United's Lenny Ayala proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Molza United from getting a goal against them. El Llano's attentive Alfonso Turnbull managed to snatch the ball when Cecilio Longoria made a throw-in in the 18th minute of the game. El Llano's Pedro Fierro was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 18th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. With a little luck, Molza United's Lenny Ayala got control of the ball when Pedro Fierro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Pedro Fierro could shoot a difficult shot in the 24th minute, which Lenny Ayala however easily saved by the left post. With 25 minutes on the clock, Lucio Palacio commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. If Armando Palacios had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Celino Bravo hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Alfonso Turnbull struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Lenny Ayala didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Llano. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

In the 79th minute Salomón Vinicio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lenny Ayala saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Molza United defense, Salomón Vinicio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lenny Ayala. The Molza United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lenny Ayala should have stopped the shot. Lenny Ayala showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Salomón Vinicio in the 85th minute of the match. Jafet Naranjo kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. If Gustavo Olivas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfonso Turnbull in the 94th minute of play forced Molza United's goalkeeper Lenny Ayala to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. El Llano fully deserved thier win.
