But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Conrado Bosch couldn't finish the play. A collision led to CAT FC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Nestor Page hit a great ball. In the 11th minute, Fabricio Alcott got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 13thth minute of the game Fabricio Alcott who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CAT FC's Zachary Castro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. CAT FC's Roberto Cuevas got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Nestor Page had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Conrado Bosch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zachary Castro having to interfere. Zachary Castro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sil Alarcón in the 26th minute of play. After 28 minutes, Fabricio Alcott made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. CAT FC's Zachary Castro tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 33 minutes into the game, Fabricio Alcott was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Guayaubín's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CAT FC the free kick. The supporters of CAT FC booed when Guayaubín was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabricio Alcott didn't get a good kick on the ball. 38 minutes into the game, Timothy Cisneros was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CAT FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Guayaubín the free kick. After a rather tough play, CAT FC's Timothy Cisneros got a free kick in the 38th minute. CAT FC's Zachary Castro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Conrado Bosch in the 43rd minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fabricio Alcott to strike the kick off in the second half. Clemente Clayton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabian Villarreal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fabian Villarreal in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Clemente Clayton prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 66 minutes into the game, Conrado Bosch was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Guayaubín's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CAT FC the free kick. Nestor Page received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Clemente Clayton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Conrado Bosch kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Zachary Castro. That made the score 0-3 in the 76 minute of play. In the 81st minute, Fabricio Alcott got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fabricio Alcott received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Zachary Castro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Guayaubín's goalkeeper Clemente Clayton, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, CAT FC's Roberto Cuevas got a free kick in the 95th minute. When the final whistle sounded Guayaubín left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than CAT FC.
