José Luis Montañas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pascual Palacio having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Alonso Villamayor's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pascual Palacio was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leonardo Covarrubias during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Cuervos de Villa Tapia's zone, Alonso Villamayor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pascual Palacio came out of the goal and Alonso Villamayor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when José Luis Montañas got free with Pascual Palacio in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marlón Nolasco kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alonso Villamayor stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rodrigo Mena kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling José Luis Montañas in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pascual Palacio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the Cuervos de Villa Tapia defense, José Luis Montañas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pascual Palacio. The Cuervos de Villa Tapia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pascual Palacio should have stopped the shot. Alonso Villamayor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Pascual Palacio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pascual Palacio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alonso Villamayor in the 70th minute of play. In the 74thth minute of the game Elián Linares who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cuervos de Villa Tapia's Pascual Palacio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 75 minutes, Marlón Nolasco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cuervos de Villa Tapia and the San jose fc players grew even worse after the yellow card. Marlón Nolasco hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Alonso Villamayor took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pascual Palacio. Pascual Palacio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. There was no doubt that San jose fc were the better team. San jose fc's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
