Fabricio Alcott did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-0 to the left of a surprised Ozzie Salinas 27 minutes into the match. 30 minutes into the match, Nirgua FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fabricio Alcott came free, but Ozzie Salinas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Christian Urritz came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Nirgua FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christian Urritz couldn't finish the play. Fabricio Alcott's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 33rdth minute, Ozzie Salinas skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Urritz in the 34th minute of play forced Guayaubín's goalkeeper Clemente Clayton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience held their breath when Homero Ruiz in the 41st minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Clemente Clayton's left hand side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Christian Urritz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 83 minutes of play, Guayaubín's Fabricio Alcott made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ozzie Salinas was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nirgua FC's Ozzie Salinas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabricio Alcott in the 91st minute of play. When Conrado Bosch came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Guayaubín fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Conrado Bosch couldn't finish the play. After 94th play minutes Fabricio Alcott shot 9-0, a short shot which went by Ozzie Salinas and just under the crossbar into goal. Guayaubín walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
