The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adolfo Zambrano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Casimiro Villanueva in the 12th minute of the match. After having played for 14 minutes, Casimiro Villanueva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atlético Univ. UASD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Casimiro Villanueva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Casimiro Villanueva ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Casimiro Villanueva in the 21st managed to get into a good position. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Casimiro Villanueva managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atlético Univ. UASD's supporters rose to their feet, but Casimiro Villanueva was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adolfo Zambrano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 26 minutes, Gonzalo Archibeque managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Isidoro Ledesma hit a great ball. When Hanley Morrison came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Club Atlético Univ. UASD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hanley Morrison couldn't finish the play.
