In the 7th match minute, Estudiantes de Bonao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramfis Apolonario to maneuver through the defense. Ahmet Emir Demirci recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Las Terrenas's Isidoro Balboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baltasar Nava in the 11th minute of play. The supporters of Estudiantes de Bonao booed when Las Terrenas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeremias Molinos didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 15 played minutes, Estudiantes de Bonao's Walter Córdova shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Isidoro Balboa came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Estudiantes de Bonao reached it. Adnan Menderes scored 0-1 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bernard Macedo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Isidoro Balboa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Baltasar Nava's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Ramfis Apolonario's late challenge caught a Las Terrenas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ramfis Apolonario helped the player get up and apologised. Ramfis Apolonario kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Adnan Menderes scored 0-2 in the 28th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bernard Macedo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 33 minutes into the match, Adnan Menderes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bernard Macedo. Estudiantes de Bonao's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adnan Menderes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Matias Cuéllar kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Ahmet Emir Demirci received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Bernard Macedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Estudiantes de Bonao getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Albert Medrano hit a great ball. Ahmet Emir Demirci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernard Macedo having to interfere.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adnan Menderes in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bernard Macedo saved Estudiantes de Bonao from getting behind. Isidoro Balboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abel Santana, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Thanks to some nice moves William Aranda could shoot a difficult shot in the 56th minute, which Bernard Macedo however easily saved by the left post. 59 minutes into the match, Estudiantes de Bonao's goal looked a bit too open when Adnan Menderes came free, but Bernard Macedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Estudiantes de Bonao's Albert Medrano got a free kick in the 59th minute. After some careless play in the Estudiantes de Bonao defense, Ahmet Emir Demirci kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bernard Macedo. The Estudiantes de Bonao fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bernard Macedo should have stopped the shot. Walter Márquez kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. A collision led to Las Terrenas getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Bonifacio Yáñez hit a great ball. In the 94th minute, Walter Córdova got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Las Terrenas players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
