Spectators: 7600 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 2000, VIP seats: 100) Las Terrenas's Ahmet Emir Demirci started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Federico Cuenca managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chulos del Caribe's supporters rose to their feet, but Federico Cuenca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Isidoro Balboa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 5 minutes into the match, Las Terrenas's goal looked a bit too open when Martín Luján came free, but Isidoro Balboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Isidoro Balboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Federico Cuenca in the 9th minute of play. 10 minutes into the match, Chulos del Caribe's Federico Cuenca sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Isidoro Balboa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Basilio Fajardo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adnan Menderes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 12th match minute, Las Terrenas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adnan Menderes to maneuver through the defense. Isidoro Balboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martín Luján in the 13th minute of play. Basilio Fajardo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mario Friedman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Basilio Fajardo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Balduino Madrid, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Chulos del Caribe's Federico Cuenca sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Isidoro Balboa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 22 minutes, William Aranda mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Las Terrenas and the Chulos del Caribe players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 25th minute Martín Luján shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidoro Balboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Elizardo Calvo in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Isidoro Balboa saved Las Terrenas from getting behind. With his leg Basilio Fajardo managed to avoid a goal in the 29thth minute, when Las Terrenas's Ahmet Emir Demirci fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a rather tough play, Las Terrenas's Adrián Ponce got a free kick in the 44th minute. In the 46th minute Elizardo Calvo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidoro Balboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Martín Luján made a kick off. Martín Luján recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Isidoro Balboa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Martín Luján's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. After 59 played minutes Las Terrenas got a freekick which was hit by Mario Friedman. In the 60th minute, Federico Cuenca ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Isidoro Balboa was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Isidoro Balboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martín Luján, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Federico Cuenca blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Isidoro Balboa having to make a save. Isidoro Balboa made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Martín Luján sent off a good shot on target. Federico Cuenca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Las Terrenas's Bonifacio Yáñez was substituted for Jeremias Molinos. After having played for 75 minutes, Martín Luján managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chulos del Caribe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Martín Luján was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Isidoro Balboa made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Elizardo Calvo sent off a good shot on target. Elizardo Calvo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Isidoro Balboa came out and tried to block the shot, but Elizardo Calvo slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 83rd minute. With his leg Isidoro Balboa managed to avoid a goal in the 89thth minute, when Chulos del Caribe's Elizardo Calvo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Balduino Madrid scored 2-3 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Basilio Fajardo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Isidoro Balboa made a fantastic save in the 98th minute, when Federico Cuenca sent off a good shot on target. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Chulos del Caribe eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
