In the 37th minute Ahmet Emir Demirci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adolfo Zambrano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Ahmet Emir Demirci managed to get in a good position for a shot. Las Terrenas's supporters rose to their feet, but Ahmet Emir Demirci was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adolfo Zambrano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Adolfo Zambrano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ahmet Emir Demirci's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in Las Terrenas fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 46th minute. Penalty! When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anthony Canal made a kick off. Celestino Carreón kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. The supporters of El Peñón FC booed when Las Terrenas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adnan Menderes didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Las Terrenas walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
