When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Martín Luján put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Joel Cejas. The audience thought a goal was coming when Federico Cuenca got free with Joel Cejas in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 23 minutes into the match, Federico Cuenca had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joel Cejas. Gazcue 608 United's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Federico Cuenca was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. With splendid footwork Martín Luján arrived in front of goal to shoot 3-0 by the left pole in the game's 28th minute. After having played for 30 minutes, Elizardo Calvo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chulos del Caribe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elizardo Calvo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A hard shot 33 in the game by Martín Luján from a close distance when the talented Joel Cejas managed to make a qualified save. Gazcue 608 United's players were relieved. Gazcue 608 United's Joel Cejas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martín Luján in the 43rd minute of play. In the 45th minute, Matt Ureña got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

Joel Cejas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Federico Cuenca in the 53rd minute of the match. The supporters of Chulos del Caribe booed when Gazcue 608 United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raul Posada didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Martín Luján's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joel Cejas was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Gazcue 608 United's zone, Martín Luján stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joel Cejas came out of the goal and Martín Luján tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 82 minutes into the match, Martín Luján notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Gazcue 608 United's Joel Cejas. Joel Cejas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Joel Cejas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Federico Cuenca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joel Cejas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martín Luján in the 90th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martín Luján in the 95th minute of play forced Gazcue 608 United's goalkeeper Joel Cejas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the referee ended the match the Chulos del Caribe players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
