Jesús Caminero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elizardo Calvo, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Agustín Zapata blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Basilio Fajardo having to make a save. A collision led to Chulos del Caribe getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Aníbal Atencio hit a great ball. Alonso Dyall charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Chulos del Caribe's Basilio Fajardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gonzalo Vinicio in the 17th minute of play. In the 20th match minute, Argen-Taino was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manolo Portillo to maneuver through the defense. 31 minutes into the match, Chulos del Caribe's goal looked a bit too open when Agustín Zapata came free, but Basilio Fajardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Federico Cuenca could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Jesús Caminero made a huge save. After having played for 35 minutes, Gonzalo Vinicio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Argen-Taino's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gonzalo Vinicio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Agustín Zapata came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Argen-Taino fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Agustín Zapata couldn't finish the play. In the 41st minute, Agustín Zapata made a precise shot to the right of Basilio Fajardo. Chulos del Caribe's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. A collision led to Argen-Taino getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Agustín Zapata hit a great ball. The supporters of Argen-Taino booed when Chulos del Caribe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuel Halle didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

In the 55th minute, Argen-Taino's Phil Mills ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Basilio Fajardo. Basilio Fajardo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. After 60 played minutes Jeremias Stewarts rounded Chulos del Caribe's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-4. Hermenegildo Pulido hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. In the 67th minute Jeremias Stewarts shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basilio Fajardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 68 minutes into the match, Chulos del Caribe's goal looked a bit too open when Ramón Sosa came free, but Basilio Fajardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 72nd minute, Jeremias Stewarts reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Basilio Fajardo. The goal made the score 0-6. In the 76th minute, Federico Cuenca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Agustín Zapata kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Basilio Fajardo came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Argen-Taino's Jeremias Stewarts. But to his dismay, Jeremias Stewarts quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. If Federico Cuenca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle sounded Argen-Taino left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Chulos del Caribe.
