Las Terrenas's Isidoro Balboa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Las Terrenas from getting a goal against them. 34 minutes into the match, Las Terrenas's goal looked a bit too open when Hanley Morrison came free, but Isidoro Balboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Las Terrenas's Isidoro Balboa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Las Terrenas from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Club Atlético Univ. UASD booed when Las Terrenas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mario Friedman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hanley Morrison received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Isidoro Balboa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. UASD got a freekick which was hit by Willy Iglesias. Hanley Morrison fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isidoro Balboa having to interfere. In the 62nd minute Omar Palma shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidoro Balboa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Club Atlético Univ. UASD's Hanley Morrison got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Club Atlético Univ. UASD's Casimiro Villanueva in 73 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Isidoro Balboa guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Ahmet Emir Demirci recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Hanley Morrison's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Isidoro Balboa was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Balduino Madrid got free with Yánez Aldaeta in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Ahmet Emir Demirci got free in front of the goal in the 87th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Yánez Aldaeta was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. The Club Atlético Univ. UASD supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Las Terrenas's performance. The match ended with a win for Las Terrenas.
