Smail Nasri's late challenge caught a Jefferson's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Smail Nasri helped the player get up and apologised. Rachid Soltani might have been able to make a better finish in the 98th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Karim Bencheikh. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rachid Soltani ran back to his position shaking his head. The Jefferson supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Bedford's performance. The match ended with a win for Bedford.
